Previously in Café 42: Music is a very important thing in my life, essential even. Indeed, within the last year, I’ve discovered that music has the power to shift my vibrational state, to open wide my imagination gates, to realign my energy, to allow my body to dance and my soul to sing. This is why, when I decided to create Café 42, I wanted to share a playlist of my most significant songs with my community, like a life’s soundtrack.

My dear beloved regulars,

This new song is musically very far from those I’ve added to Café 42’s Life, the Universe and Everything Playlist so far. Indeed, “Zeit” by Rammstein, except from the fact that it is sung in German, is a metal song. Each metal or hard rock band has its ballad as Scorpions’ “Still Loving You” or Metallica’s “Nothing else matters”, Rammstein has “Zeit” and I love this song though the lyrics are quite dark but it goes with Rammstein’s Universe.

I love lots of different kinds of music but metal has come to me through my caring hubbie who loves all kinds of raw angry music from melodic as Rammstein is to not listenable for my profane ears. We both had quite an incredible experience at Rammstein’s concert in Barcelona a few weeks ago as I related in one of my note:

I don’t speak German at all but I do know a few handy sentences if I am to go to Germany at one point, to meet with Rammstein’s singer for example, Till Lindemann, who I find yummy despite his 62 years of age (he would make a very good whisky!):
