Previously in Café 42: Music is a very important thing in my life, essential even. Indeed, within the last year, I’ve discovered that music has the power to shift my vibrational state, to open wide my imagination gates, to realign my energy, to allow my body to dance and my soul to sing. This is why, when I decided to create Café 42, I wanted to share a playlist of my most significant songs with my community, like a life’s soundtrack.
My dear beloved regulars,
This week’s Café 42’s Life, the Universe and Everything playlist track is directly linked to my last Weekly Special “Steve Perry’s Grace” post. Indeed “Higher Love” by Steve Winwood is also part of my own Universe’s playlist filled with the songs my guide Michael has sent me over the past few months to help me find my true path, the one in phase with my soul’s agenda.
I love that song and it lyrics and I was eager to share it with you for a long time but, as it is related to my connection with Steve Perry, I wanted to wait after writing the post about it. But it took me a while to write that post for, somehow, because of the intensity of that connection, I had to overcome the intimacy that went with it to be able to share it with the world.
So, as I related in that post, while watching Steve Perry sing “Don’t Stop Believing” in an old live video, I was struck by an energy so powerful that sent me wandering innerly for three days, unable to think clearly and to understand what was happening to me.
As I was trying to make sense of that intensity, one morning, on my way to my kitchen, my head filled with Steve Winwood’s song, at least the chorus, which I hadn’t listened to for decades. And part of what I had energetically just experienced showed up very clearly in the perspective of that song. That raw energy was higher love, an unconditional love so intense my body could barely hold it.
