My dear beloved regulars,
I believe I stumbled across Gregg Braden’s “Divine Matrix”, Café 42’s July Book Selection, through Neale Donald Walsch. It was a few weeks after my burnout and I had started to search for new answers about Life, the Universe and Everything. I was scrolling on one of those websites offering insights about how the Universe works, after following a link to a video ITW of Neale and taking a look at the other ITWs.
There, I saw Gregg Braden on the screen and, as I can be a very mocking person, I thought the last time I had seen this kind of haircut was in the 80’s (naughty, naughty me!) and that it took a lot of confidence to still wear it nowadays so I went and listen to what kind of woo-woo stuff he was selling. I was still a very skeptical gal at the time - after more than a year spent with my guides, my skeptical levels have drastically fell! - and that’s exactly because of that that he won me over.
What is interesting about Gregg Braden’s approach is that he studied several Quantum Physics theories and great physicists and applied their principles and discoveries to New Age spiritual theories such as the law of attraction or our ability to create absolutely anything in our lives just by believing we can - Ok, it is slighly more complex than that but you get the idea.
Gregg Braden is not a scientist though he used to be a geologist, but, as lots of us, he employed the last decades to make sense of life and the Universe mysteries through Quantum Physics and science. As usual, part of the scientific community are outraged by his “non-sensical” theories but Gregg Braden is not saying that he holds the truth - contrary to the contemptuous scientists mentioned above - he simply offers what he understands of the Universe confronting New Age theories with Quantum Physics ones. And, you know what? They make sense to me!
Quantum physicists such as Planck and Einstein discovered that, contrary to physics theories prevailing up to the end of XIXth century - and let me tell you that their new theories were not better received by their contemporary scientific community than Gregg Braden’s ones - , where most of us only see air or empty spaces between things as the profanes we are, there is in fact a whole unified field made of particles, atoms, protons, neutrons and energy that connects everything together. They also discovered, among many other things, that, as an observer, a scientist has an impact on the way a particle reacts when it is observed, giving the observer a direct role in the particle’s behavior and rendering the particle’s behavior unpredictable on its own. Those are two of the main topics Gregg Braden explores in his book.
Through “The Divine Matrix” Gregg Braden is stating that, according to Quantum Physics, the Universe force responds to 4 laws:
