My dear beloved customers,

In my last week post, I introduced you to the first two parts of “Flasp”, my children book about difference and uniqueness.

So, after a whole cliffhanging week, here are the two next episodes of the aventures of that little bug. Brace yourself!

The bug arrived at the entrance of a bright pool of light that happened to be a great meadow decorated with thousands of colorful wild flowers. The sun was shining high in the sky and the meadow was buzzing with busy activities.

The bug was quite impressed by the incredible lively landscape painting that stood in front of its eyes. It was breath taken by so much beauty and decided to take a moment at the foot of a tree to recover. While the bug was descending, it heard a bossy voice coming from below calling it.

“Hey weirdo! What are you doing here?”

The bug landed before a red thin creature with beautiful long antennas coming out of a small mound of earth between the tree’s roots.

“Weirdo? Is that my name?” asked the bug, curious.

“You don’t know your name?”

“No. What’s yours?”

“11 238.”

“That’s a very nice name. Who gave it to you?”

“The queen. You don’t have a queen?”

“What’s a queen?”

“A giant ant which spends its life birthing eggs.”

“What’s an ant?”

“I am an ant! What are you?”

“I don’t know. Do you?”

“No, I’ve never seen a bug like you before. You look very weird with that yellow fur around your neck and your yellow tipped antennas.”

“What’s weird?”

“I’m sorry but I don’t have all day to talk with you! I must go back to my work. See you!”

And the red ant went back to join its fellows in an endless line that entered the meadow’s long grass.

The bug watched the ants walk in and out of the anthill towards the meadow for a moment before the sweet scent it had smelled earlier caught its attention again and it took off to follow it.
